This all helps you to ensure consistency moving forward, which helps to strengthen and bring recognition to your brand.

I'm highly-collaborative as I love to not only design, but to teach clients more about the world of design and how to use it to their advantage.

One of the most mentioned subjects with my clients is their experiences with previous designers. Whether it’s that they didn’t really listen to the client or they weren’t trained on how to use their site after it was launched; that’s not how Lux + Vita works. No matter what you’ve hired me for, I will listen to you and take everything you say about your project to heart. I'm not here to just crank out designs - I'm here to serve you and create custom designs that speak to your target audience. All client homework is designed to get to know who you are, what you do, who your target audience is and how we can best serve you to reach the goals you’ve set for our project together. I don’t take my research on your business and target audience lightly and I hope you don’t either, which is why I ask you to complete all of your homework before the project even starts so that you have plenty of time to really process the information and communicate exactly what you want in your project.

01 | Discover

Before your project start date, you'll have some homework - a Brand Workbook and a secret Pinterest board. Once you've completed the workbook, we'll schedule a call to chat!

02 | Details

We'll have a kick-off call to go over your Brand Workbook, inspiration, and final details to make sure we're on the same page before I start on your concepts!

03 | Design

It's time to dive in and get started on your concepts! I'll create 2-3 concepts and send over them over for you to choose one. From here we'll revise the chosen concept until it's perfect!

04 | Develop

Now that we have your primary logo, it's time to move on to the rest of your branding! Just like with the concepts, I'll create your additional designs and send them to you for revision. We'll tweak these designs until they're just right! 

05 | Deliver

Once your final invoice has been paid, you'll receive a link to download your files via Dropbox. Then it’s time to get those party poppers out and get your launch strategy ready!

What do I need to do before the project start date? One of the biggest pieces of homework you will have is to complete your Brand Workbook and start a secret Pinterest board. I recommend that you add in 2 weeks before your project start date to work on your workbook as there is a lot of content that will not only help with designing your logo and collateral, but there may be questions in there about your business that you haven't yet taken time to define (i.e. mission statement).

Do your rates include the native/working files? No. There are several reasons for this, including licensing restrictions on stock, fonts and other resources. If you would like the native files I can send you links to the fonts and other resources used in your project for purchase. There are some projects where the source (native) files may be included or they may be available for purchase. If you're interested in receiving the original files please let me know and we'll see what we can do. Read this article on copyrights + native files.

Are there any hidden fees? There are only ever additional charges made if any premium features will be needed for your branding. Premium features may include images, fonts, templates and licenses. Any and all purchases will be discussed before purchasing.

What's your payment process, do you do installments or all at once? Payments are broken up into 3 installments. In order to secure a place on my calendar, a non-refundable 25% deposit is required. Half-way through the project 50% of the invoice will be due, and before the final files are handed over, the rest of the invoice will be due.

Do you offer discounts? I love helping others get their business or ministry where they want it to be. With my 7+ years of experience serving local churches, I understand how hard it can be to design things that speak your message, and reach your target audience. Most times, it's because you don't have the time or the budget, which is why I want to be there to help. I have a discount available for all non profit organizations; because I understand the struggles you have and the goals you're trying to achieve on a limited budget. Just let me know if you're a non profit and I'll add the discount to your project!
